Stable mobile OS other than Android

Here I have collected the list of stable mobile OS that are not Android, iOS and BlackBerry. There are many new mobile OS which are stable and available for usage. Again here I will not include Android based OS like FireOS from Amazon, Cyanogenmod etc.

Mobile OS Other than Android list:

Tizen

Tizen OS is developed by Samsung based on Linux. This OS is also available for smart devices such as watch and TV. Currently there is only phone available in market which is Samsung Z1. Samsung also planned to launch the next versions Z2 and Z3.

Tizen OS is currently running in a low end phone, Samsung Z1. Currently this phone is available in India in Flipkart website.

Sailfish OS

Sailfish OS is again a Linux based OS. Jolla is phone powered with Sailfish OS. You can buy them from their official website. It is high end phone which works like BlackBerry OS (the gesture part and multitasking). It has multi-tasking feature and it's a gesture based phone.

Cool thing about this phone is the design. It has an interesting two tone design. The phone's back shell has a chip which when connected to the phone changes the phone theme to color of back shell. Jolla call it as the other half. The front half has a curved design and the back half has flat design which gives a cool look that two phones are sticked together.

Firefox OS

Firefox OS is developed by Mozilla. Phone powered by this OS are low end devices. Their motto is to create a affordable phone for everyone. All phone running this OS are priced in the range of $50 to $200.

m3u8 crossdomain access denied

I got this error when I tried to play Live TV from a website. I fixed it by following this procedure: You can ignore this error by changing the settings in internet options. Step 1: Open internet explorer Step 2: Go to "Internet Options" Step 3: Click"Secuirty" tab Step 4: Click "Internet" icon Step 5: Choose "Custom Level" and scroll down to "Miscellaneous" Step 6: One of the options should be "Access data sources across domain" - set this to "Enable".
