High End Linux Gaming Laptop released from System 76
After the success of Android OS (based on Linux) developers started working on desktop Linux version to support games. As a result , "Steam" a multi-player gaming platform supports Linux versions. There are many laptops which runs Linux from right from the box. ZaReason is laptop vendor will sell their laptop with Linux OS already installed. System 76 released two high end Linux laptop that run Ubuntu OS. One laptop is designed for gamer and the other for office purpose. The laptop that designed for games is names as "Galago Ultrapro" and the laptop designed for office is named as "Gazelle Professional".
Galago Ultrapro - Linux gaming laptop:
The Ultrapro comes with 2GHz Intel Core i7-4750HQ fourth-generation processor. This processor has got four cores to boost up the gaming experience. For graphics it has dedicated hardware by intel, GPU used in this laptop is Intel Iris Pro which is backed by 128MBs of eDRAM. This GPU is claimed that it can function better than NIVIDIA graphics from AMD. It has 14.1-inch 1080p HD LED IPS display with 1,920x1,080 resolution. Other feature include Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI, Display Port, three USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader, and headphone and microphone jacks. As I said before Gazelle Professional is Linux laptop designed for office purpose. This system is equipped with Core i7-4700 MQ and is clocked with the frequency range from 2.4Ghz to 2.8GHz. Graphics card used in this system is Intel's integrated HD Graphics 4600. Actually its a older version from Intel. The display used here is bigger than UltraPro which sizes 15.6-inch. The display allows you to view 1080p through its HD LED backlit display with 1,920x1,080 resolution. Other features are merely like UltraPro such as Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI, Display Port, three USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader, and headphone and microphone jacks. The memory used here is same as UltraPro that uses 4GB memory and you can expand it to 16 GB. Storage is 500 GB SATA II drive with 7,200 RPM means it can read or write a data faster than UltraPro.
